June 14, 2009- Today was my 3rd day visiting the work camp. I am now officially working with the little ones, 3-7 years old. They do not speak English, some speak Thai and some speak a Burmese dialect. Nancy, who is American -Thai, helps me as I teach them their Alphabet and numbers. Most of these little one are so eager to learn, it really touches my heart. I plan to get this ESL program for little children at the end of the month.
This is a A.C. E. Christian ESL program, and it will allow me to not only teach them English, but also teach them about Christ, which is the whole point. Right? We are also trying to determine how we can help the mothers, through a cottage industry project. Continue to pray for us...
